What do you think about Whole Food Market increasing the employee discount from 20% to up to 30% for those employees who meet the company’s health ideals and allow the company to track their information?
I saw this story on our local television news station, but it seems that www.jezebel.com has more details, including copies of information distributed to employees of Whole Food Markets describing the plan.
It appears that it’s not mandatory for the employees to participate in this program. But when a company sets up a system that rewards not for a job well done, but for personal health and habits, it makes you think.
So, what do you think? Is this just a way for employers to dictate what you can do in your private life under the guise of a reward?
